Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving suffered a left-side facial fracture during a workout Tuesday, and will be listed as day-to-day.

The Nets are set to begin their pre-season on Oct. 12 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Irving is heading into the 2019-20 season after signing a four-year, $141 million max contract with the Nets this offseason, following two years with the Boston Celtics.
