Lil Nas X announced on Twitter that he’s taking some time off — canceling two shows in the process. The announcement comes after a huge 2019 for the 20-year-old rapper, whose song “Old Town Road” spent a record-breaking 19-week run atop Billboard’s Hot 100 charts.

Lil Nas said in his tweet: “It’s been a wild last 7 months and I’m ready to take a little time off. Sorry to everyone attending TwitchCon or the Sandbox Music Festival, I will not be there. I love you guys and will make it up to you some way.”

Those appearances were scheduled for the end of September, but as of right now, his other future shows are still on the schedule.
